Well since Canton has doubled his birth weight and it holding his head so well he has taken the next big step: cereal! We started with just a teaspoon, he’ll move to thicker fare soon enough!
Here’s the first bite
He definitely noticed the different texture and spoon, hence the bad faces…
But he soon wanted more!
He started to figure it out…
Then the mess came…
but he soon showed he loved it!
We’ll try a bit more in a few days! 🙂

Whether you are frowning or smiling you are the most adorable, precious, sweetest Great Grandson to us. I laughed when I saw your pictures and knew at the end you liked the cereal. oh my gosh that made my morning! it was like flipping through a cartoon book of different expressions. i can’t wait to feed you a lemon head or something to see how you react to that, haha! well i certainly am proud of you mr. can-man! cereal is the best, i think you will really like it and it will keep you fuller longer and help you grow to be even taller than your papa. keep up the messes! 🙂
Wow Canton! You are getting to be such a big boy. Once you get a taste of that cereal, you will want more and more things to try with a spoon. Mom just thinks you are making a mess now. Just wait until you want to start feeding yourself! I can’t believe how much you are changing. I hear you are being such a good boy for Gayle. Mom is doing a great job at work too! Happy Eating.
